Who is to blame, we do not know

Does it really matter?

Your suffering seems endless

I have consulted with God

He says all I can do is say a prayer for you

I said a prayer, it took all night

And it shall surely take very day too

Until the conflict is resolved I always think of you

Your mouth blown out by some stray bomb

Shelling, artillery flying everywhere around

Take heart in the knowledge God truly does exist

He’s inside of you, so tell Him you insist

That suffering and trauma must come to an end

Let not your strength nor your will bend

To evil as it become inflicted upon yourself

Rather though; say a prayer for the perpetrator

For their days are to come and very soon

Only a few days and with the new moon

That high in the Heavens it rides a star

God is much closer and no longer afar

With His watchful eye and dedicated pen

Together we try and right the wrongs

Through a prayer for you to my Little Ones

For the Heart that is ink now comes to you

Closer today, for those who pray, and Faith

- Is but  held by a few
